Happiness is generally thought of as having positive emotions, but it’s also a state of well-being and contentment.
Being happy in the present moment is called hedonia, and feeling a broader sense of life satisfaction is called eudaimonia.
Experts, for research purposes, developed some remarkably helpful scales to measure happiness. Some of the most well-known ones are the Subjective Happiness Scale (SHS) and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS).
This quiz here is based on those questionnaires, but not as rigid as those. So have fun finding out what your happiness score is!

Final Words
While it's true that your inclination to happiness is about 50% inherited, 40% of your happiness comes from the choices you make and the actions you take.
Research on happiness has shown that good relationships and social connections are very strong factors for a happy and healthy life (Harvard Study of Adult Development, 1938 — ongoing).
Happier people tend to focus on experiences rather than material possessions, practice gratitude, invest time in joyful activities, and spend some time in their day being mindful.
